Howard finds the moon rock 2.1 Mini van pulls into driveway, camera dollies into 2.1b Dolly ends and out comes Erin from the car, mom comes around from the front on her cell phone 2.1c Camera pans to the right 2.2 Tube gets caught on th emini-van (TEST WARDROBE) 2.3 Mom is on cell phone 2.4 Erin fixes tube 3.1 Boy’s here the door slam outside 3.2A Billy runs to window as dolly follows from behind 3.2B Dolly raises over Billy’s shoulder and we see Erin and Mom in the Driveway 3.3 Howard turns to camera, exits frame right, Billy runs to the window. 3.4 High Angle looking in, Howard tosses the Moon Rock into the the box and shoves it under Erin’s bed. 3.5 From underneath the bed, Howard shoves the box underneath the bed and exits in the distance. 3.6 Howard runs into the tube 3.7 Push into Howard, he realizes he forgot to close the zipper. 3.8 Wide Shot of Howard and Billy. Push Into Howard looking back. 3.9 Howard P.O.V. of the zipper not zipped. (Shoot both ways w. Howard zipping and Howard not zipping the tube) 4.1A Wide on Kathryn and Erin walking into the door, Mom Exits frame. 4.1B Push into Erin pulling in Oxygen tank. 5.1 Howard shuts the door. 6.1 Erin sits on th left of frame and Howard sits on the right of frame. They have separate worlds. Howard looks at the zipper. 6.2 Erin looks where Howard looks. 6.3 OTS of Erin to Howard. 6.4 OTS of Howard to Erin. 6.5 Pinkie swear thru the plastic. 6.6 Erin in FG, Howard in MG and Kathryn in BG at the door. (Limited Space) 6.7 Is the reverse shot from Kathryn's hip. 7 - not storyboarded Howard wakes up from scream. 8.1 Howard rushes and stop at door. 8.2 Howard P.O.V. of Katyrhn cradeling Erin through ripped plastic. 8.3 CU howard reaction 9.1 Howard watches from his windoww as the red light from the ambulance shines on him in the reflection of the window. 10.1 Over the table shot. Other guest appear as blurred images. She doesn't fit in. She is in her own world as people pass her by. 13.2 Punch in on Kathryn. 13.3 Little girl blowing bubbles. 13.4 Kathryn helps the girl up. 14.1 Wide Shot of Howard and Billy under a tree. 14.2 Over the back of Billy to Howard's profile. 14.3 Over the shoulder of Howard to Billy. 14.4 Wide Shot behind the two boys as Kathryn walks passed Mr. Goodrich and he creates a fireball. 14.5 Dolly to a 2 shot in front of the boys. 15.1A Camera looking straight down at Erin's space suit. 15.1B Camera continues to pull back into a Medium shot of Kathryn. 15.1C Camera continues to pull back pass the door frame. 15.1D Camera pulls back into the hallway 15.1E Camera reveals howard watching his mom in the hallway. 15.1F Camera ends with Howard in the foreground with his back against the wall. 16.1 Wide shot of neighborhood skyline. Camera cranes down to find... 16.1B Boys with blueprint 16.1C 2 shot of boys 17.1 90 degree setup. Howard and BIlly make a rocket. 17.2 17.3 Howard steadily eyes the fin on the rocket. 19.1 Right to left of frame the boys collect stuff to assemble their rocket with. 19.2 Left to right of frame the boys have all the stuff they need. 21.1 Wide Shot of the rocket 21.2 90 degree coverage 21.3 90 degree coverage 21.4 Howie turns into the shot 22.1 Howie is writing sorry note at his desk (FLAT) 22.1 OTS of Howie writing note. 23.1 CU of Howie getting the Rock 23.2 CU of Howie pulling the oxygen hose from the tank 23.3 Wide shot of Howard in the room for the last time. 24.1A Howard drops the sorry note into frame in the kitchen counter and exits the kitchen door. 24.1B Howard looks back one last time, dragging the oxygen tank and disappears into the darkenss. (Production Design note: Would be good to have a screen door or glass door.) 25.1 Howard walks uphill. (note flashlight duct taped to wagon for practical lights) 26.1A Mom pulls not - camera follows 26.1B Mom reads not and leaves (75mm lens) 27.1 Mom knocks on door. 27.2 Wideshot of the front of Mr. Goodrich's house with Billy by his side. 28.1 Wideshot of Howard and the completed rocketship! 28.2 CU howard connects the tube. 28.3 CU lighter fluid on the fuse. 28.4 CU on tube on valve. 29.1 Steadicam shot Mom running in the woods. 29.2 2 shot medium shot running in the woods. 29.3 Wide shot running up the hill 30.1 Howard in his helmet tries to light the fuse 30.2 Oxygen tank valve is on empty 30.3 Howard breathing heavey, starting to fog up.
